The real satisfaction comes when Krishna within our heart is happy with us. When we achieve some success in material life, it brings some satisfaction, but only for a very short time.

Srila Vyasadev shows by his example that even though he had achieved such an immense success as a great rishi, he was still not happy. At that very moment, Narada Muni came to him. When we become introspective and realize that we are not happy despite all our efforts, at that moment we can meet our spiritual master.

Meeting a real guru and surrendering to him is not a simple thing. One has to deeply realize the need for somebody who can teach him or her how to become happy. Only one who is happy himself can teach another how to become happy. To achieve the goal, we should see it very clearly. A spiritual goal is not cheap, it requires energy to achieve. Only suddha-bhakti can make the soul completely happy. "Srimad-Bhagavatam" is the manifestation of pure bhakti. Only Vrindavan Krishna is the object of pure bhakti. Just by hearing "Srimad-Bhagavatam", one can achieve pure bhakti. Only then will we get rid of attachment to the body and mind.

Questions.

Srimad Bhagavatam is the greatest of the greatest. Vaidik Sahitya is a whole saga. Charved, Exoat, Upanishad, Upanishadam, Athara Purana, Dharma Shastra, Yoga Shastra, Ayurveda Shastra, Jyoti Shastra. In Kaliyug in our life is not long. Our life is short. Therefore, we have this asambhav. The pureness of all the great things are. Therefore, we have known the very pure of the Vedic Sard. If we eat our food, we eat our food. If we eat pate or eat a lakari, we can not find the same thing. But if we have a good idea, we will not understand. But if we are not able to understand the truth, then we will understand the truth. This is the meaning of the Bhagavatam, which is the meaning of the Bhagavatam, which is the meaning of the Bhagavatam. He said that the Bhagavatam was called Nigam. Nigam means Ved. Nigam means Vedicastra. He said that the soul is the same as the soul. The soul of the soul is the same as the soul. So, it's called the desire to be a bad person. But, I don't know what the meaning of the Bhagavatam is. The meaning of the Purnataya Paka Hwe Fah. O B, he said that Pibata Bhagavata. Pibata Bhagavata means he said, Cow is a cow. He said, this is a cow. Anyway, I will speak in English. I tried enough. I'm sorry. So Vedavyas, he says that Shemad Bhagavatam is a ripe fruit of the desired tree of Vedic literature. Shri Liyansdegh said that the Shrivan Bhakutam is a whole Vedic randha rupee is a whole of a plain plain. I have to switch from Hindi to English. Srimad Bhagavatam, even among Vedic literature, has a very special place. Vedavyaas, who is the author of practically all Vedic literature, He created Shri Mat Bhagavatam, the last. This story is described in Shri Mat Bhagavatam itself. In the last story, he wrote 18 Puranas, he divided four Vedas into four parts, he systematized all the Vedic literature and ultimately he wrote Mahabharata, which is the greatest book in the whole creation. Shri Ramyaas Dev has taught all the Vedic grant to 4 years in the Bible. He has taught all the Vedic grant. He has taught all the Vedic grant to one student. And in the past, Shri Bhattav Bhattam, he has taught all the great gifts of God. But even after writing this, and then he also wrote Vedanta Sutra. Vedanta Sutra is the most amazing book. It's an amazing book. It's the most philosophical book and people even now they study this book in a very diligent way. But even after that, Shilavyasa Dev was not happy. When you create such great literature, you should feel satisfaction. I am such a great author, I created that beautiful literature. So I want to make a sense of peace from the world. I want to make a big picture of this world. But we had a few years ago, we didn't feel satisfaction in the heart. But we had a few years ago, we didn't have a sense of peace. Actually there is a very important lesson in this little story. Actually, this Changi Sikh Thakha, is a very mahatupun Ghyam-Shipa Bhavadwarya. The real satisfaction comes to our heart, not from our achievement, not from our success. The real satisfaction only will come to our heart if Krishna within our heart is happy with us. So, our heart is not from our own. When we have some success in life, it will bring us some little satisfaction for very short time. Once I was speaking with one atheistic person, he was Bharatiya Indian person. I asked him, what do you want? He said, I want to be happy. He said, I want to be happy. I asked him, how do you think you will become happy? He started thinking. He said, if I become like Mukesh Ambani, I will become happy. I said, what's so special about Mukesh Ambani? He said, he created this GEO and the whole India is now using this GEO and everyone knows about Mukesh Ambani. He said that Mukesh Ambani is still happy that he created Jio, or that this happiness was only for a few minutes? Do you think that even now he sits and thinks, Oh, how great I am, I created Jio and I am so happy. He thought little bit and said, No. So the success will bring us happiness, but this happiness is very fleeting, it's very temporary. Sometimes people think, if I have this, I will become happy. If I have this, I will become happy. Yes, you will become happy. For one day. Is it what you want? No, we want to be happy always. Hamesha. And we can only be happy always if Krishna is happy within our heart. If Paramatma within our heart is happy with us. in our hands, we worship in the karma of the Lord, when we worship that person. So, Shilabhya Sadev is showing by his example that even though he has achieved such a great success, even though he is a great yogi, even though he is a great rishi and he is such a wise person, still he is not happy. Shilabhya Sadev is a great rishi and a wise person. So, Shilabhya Sadev is a great rishi and a wise person. But then, he doesn't have any prasanna. And at this very moment, when he felt this deep unhappiness within his heart, it actually happened in Badrikashram up there in Himalayas. At this very moment, Narada Muni, his guru, came to him. This little part of this story is very instructive for us. When we become introspective and really understand the condition of our heart when we really understand that I am not happy despite of all my endeavors I tried so hard to become happy still I am unhappy at this moment when we realize that something is wrong with what I am doing, at this moment we can meet with our spiritual master. Meeting with Guru is not an ordinary thing. To meet a real Guru and to surrender to a real Guru, it's not a simple thing. One has to really deeply realize that I need somebody who will teach me how to become happy. And who can teach you how to become happy? Only somebody who is happy himself. This is why Narada Muni always plays his winner. We have never seen Narada Muni sitting and thinking very deeply. He is never in depression. So he comes to Vedaryas and he asks him, Why do you think you are not happy? and they ask what you keep, why you don't have a question. And Vedaviyas gives a very amazing answer to this question of Narada Muni. And Vedaviyas tells Shri Narada Muni a very good thing. He said, whether he asked himself, says, I think I am not happy because I identify myself with this body and with this mind. So Biyasir said that I think that I don't like this because I can recognize myself from this body. From body and from body? From body and from body? From body and from body. Switching figures. This is a very amazing thing that he asks himself, he says, Yes, I identify myself with the body and with the mind. He is such a great yogi, he is such a great Rishi Muni, still he sometimes feels I am this body, I am this mind. And Narada Muni looks at him and says yes you are right. This is your mistake. This is your problem. And this is not his problem. This is our problem. Our problem is that theoretically we may know I am eternal soul. I live always. I will not die. But this is only theoretical knowledge. When we stand in front of the mirror, we don't think I am Jiva Soul. Always our consciousness comes to this level. I am this body and I am this mind. And when the consciousness comes to this level, I am this body and I am this mind, it means that we have problem. Because our body always, there are some problems in the body. One disease or another disease or one has to scratch something or do something else. And in the mind there are always disturbance, some anxiety, some problem is always there in the mind. mind. And when there is no problem, we will create this problem in the mind and start thinking about this problem. Mind is a very beautiful creation which always creates some problem even with there is no problem. It's the nature of the mind to always be in anxiety. So therefore when we think I am this mind, I am this body, we have a problem. In fact, it's not that we have a problem. We are the problem. That's the problem. So, and And because Vedadhyas, even though he is such a great Rishi Yogi, he didn't present the essence of Vedic literature in a proper way. He himself had a problem. So from this little encounter of Narada Muni and Vedaviyas, the whole Shema Bhagavatam appeared. Narada Muni chastised Vedaviyas. He said, He said, you did a great disservice to the humanity by mixing bhakti with gyan and karma. So, Nadav Pani has said that you have given a great service for your own life, because you have given the bhakti with knowledge and karma. Instead of giving the pure bhakti, you make the mixture of karma, jnan, little yog, a little different to pious which are there, little astrology, jyotish is there, this and that. And then you say, this is what you need to know. and this is a very long standing tradition. Still to this day people do exactly the same thing. This is a very powerful Quranic parampara. We can see how people worship the bhakti, knowledge, karma, jyotish, and unique things in their lives. You can go to Tapavan or to Ramjula, go to any yoga studio, and then you will get a nice kitchen of all different medical pies. If you go to the Tappogat, Ramjura or many other yoghidhyanians then you will see the bhakti, kyan, karatan, yoghidhyanianyaki khichri to see the kichri. But the point is that by this khichri one cannot be liberated. But this is the point that in this way, we cannot get the Kichri may be good for your health but not good for your spiritual well-being. So, when we have this mixture of different upayas, of different ways, of different, you know, gods to, you know, Ishtadevatas, this and that, let's worship this and that, we become completely confused. So, when we are in our mind, we are in this way, with the Buddha, with the yoga, with the knowledge, with the knowledge, with the wisdom, with the wisdom, with the wisdom, with the wisdom, with the wisdom, we are in our mind, with the mind, with the whole body. This is a very human mentality. They always think that, you know, in case this doesn't work, maybe this will work or this will work. And they try to do so many things at once. So, they see how they learn this knowledge. They say that if they do not work, they will do this work, and they will do this work. We don't know. Sri Bhagavan, Krishna Bhagavan, Vishnu Bhagavan, Sai Baba Bhagavan, who is Bhagavan, we don't know. We don't know who is Bhagavan, Krishna Bhagavan, Ram Bhagavan, Sai Ji Bhagavan or what we need to know, what is it? We don't know anything. The patti should... Anyway, so the husband... We only have one Ishtadeva. That's the point. In this way, we should have one person in our life. One Ishtadeva should have. In this way, Sri Ramachandrajī had one person in that way. In this way, we should have one person in our life. Shri Krishna himself says in Bhagavad Gita, when the mind has so many branches and when the mind has so many different goals to achieve, ultimately he will not achieve anything. So, Bhagavan Sve Krishna Bhagavad Gita says, He is very happy to be an artist. When there are many ideas in our mind, many of these are prevailing and action, we do not reach the right way to the right. And therefore, Narada Muni told Vyadha Vyas, you did the wrong thing because you mixed everything together. Narada Muni said that you have a great reward You wanted to please everyone and ultimately you cheated everyone. Dukha, daddy. So, he but. For us to achieve the goal, we should know the goal very clearly. If we don't know the goal very clearly, we will never achieve the goal. We will never be able to invest all our energy to achieve the goal. And spirit goal is so high that you cannot achieve it if you don't invest your energy into achieving this goal. It's not cheap. Nowadays people, they want everything, but they want it by paying cheap price. People want Mukti but you know Mukti is not a cheap thing. I remember I once was in Jagannathpuri. And I was in the beach of Jagannathpuri. And in the beach of Jagannathpuri there are some people who are selling some goods everywhere. And once one of these sellers approached me and he said, I have a very beautiful precious stone. So, this is the way I have a very, very strange path. A horse. A horse. A horse. A horse. A horse. 200 feet. What? Even in 200 feet, I will find a horse. That big. That's so big in 200 rupees. It's not a right horse, it's not a real horse, it's a nutty horse. Someone knows that the real horse doesn't look like this. It's a nutty horse, it's only 200 rupees. It's a bad thing. He knows what I want to say. This is called parampara. So people want something which is very valuable, but they want to pay cheap price for this. So, people have a very small amount of value, but they want to give very small amount of value. And Narada Muni told them that yes, you should teach people the real path. So Narada Muni said that you should give a true perception of the Shuddha Bhakti. The real essence of Vedic literature is Shuddha Bhakti. Because only Shuddha Bhakti, only pure Bhakti can give the complete satisfaction to the soul. Only Shuddha Bhakti can make your soul completely, totally, always happy. Mixed Bhakti cannot do this. What to speak about creating geo, all these kind of achievements? So, the manifestation of this pure bhakti among Vedic literature is Shimad Bhagavad. In the Srimad Bhagavatam speaks only about Sudha Bhakti. In Srimad Bhagavatam there is some stories about karma, obhyan, or yoga that is there. But all these prasants, all these stories only as a background to show that the real goal is Sudha Bhakti. But the all the prasandha's prayoga is that the Shuddha Bhakti is the subject of Shuddha Bhakti. Shri Matipagavatam very beautifully describes that the object of real Shuddha Bhakti is only Krishna and not only Krishna but only Krishna in Vrindavan. The reason why Shuddha Bhakti is the purpose of the Shuddha Bhakti, is the purpose of the Bhagavad Gita Sri Krishna. Is it not Sri Krishna, or is it the purpose of the Vrindavan Krishna? Only Vrindavan Krishna, which is Madhuri Maya Krishna, which is very sweet Krishna, which is completely human-like Krishna, which allows very close relationship with Him, He can only be the object of pure bhakti. and they can get the whole Pramod Prada. And therefore when Srila Vyasadev created Srimad Bhagavatam, he invested into Srimad Bhagavatam in the very middle of Srimad Bhagavatam this precious 35 or 36 or 37 chapters about Vrindavan Krishna Leela. And ultimately if I understand this then the pure bhakti will come to our heart. just by hearing Shemad Bhagavatam we can achieve pure bhakti and only when we get Shuddha Bhakti then we can get beyond the body and mind When we are in this stage of complete absorption and Sudha Bhakti, and Sudha Bhakti is a very absorbing thing, then we will be able to completely get rid of this attachment to body and mind. So, when our mind is the real Samadhan to all our Samasya. Because all our problems are because of the identification with the body and mind. Whatever problem you take, it all boils down to this false ego, to ahankar. I am this body and I am this mind. So, Shri Mat Bhavavatam is very natural and very simple way of switching our consciousness from absorption into the body and mind into absorption into Krishna. And Śrīla Prabhupāda, he proved it by his example. When he came to America, he didn't know how people in America will react for his preaching. But he had complete, total trust into the words of Srimad Bhagavatam, the power of Srimad Bhagavatam. He knew that the words of Srimad Bhagavatam themselves can transform the hearts of the people. He came to hippies and hippies were taking drugs, sometimes they were going naked. They were very degraded people. But Siddha Prabhupada said, I made hippie into happy. By changing their hearts. How he changed their hearts? By Srimad Bhagavatam, by the words of Srimad Bhagavatam. And he said, by repeating the words of Narada Muni, that Srimad Bhagavatam is meant to create the revolution into the impious lives of the modern civilization. So, Srila Prabhupada created this revolution. in our hearts, in the hearts of thousands and millions of people. And in this way he proved the potency of Srimad Bhagavatam. Therefore, we, knowing this very well, should read Srimad Bhagavatam every day. And so, when we see the body of Shri Matabhavatam, how we see the body of the body of the body in the vision, we should have to be able to study Shri Matabhavatam every day. By serving Shri Matabhavatam every day, by reading Shri Matabhavatam every day, we can completely purify our heart. So, in this way, we will be able to purify other people and this whole world will be purified. So, we will not only purify our own life, we will purify our whole world. And if we having this chance of coming in contact with Shimat Bhagavatam, don't take advantage of Shimat Bhagavatam, don't really try to absorb our mind into Shimat Bhagavatam, we should consider ourselves the most unfortunate people in the world. There is this famous concept in Vedic culture of Pancharin about five depths which we all have. In the Greek Sanskrit, there are five rins of the rins. One of the depths which we have is the depth to great wise people who were before us. All these great Munis and Rishis who created this great literature. In these five rins, one rins is also that the great rins have come from us, the great rinshiponi, who have been to these great rinshiponi, has also been to those rinshiponi. How can we absorb ourselves from this rinshiponi? Because if we remain deptors, we will have to come back again and again and again. We will have to come back into this material world. So to observe ourselves from this rind, we have to study their literature. Otherwise Vyasadeva he just without any reason created this Shimad Bhagavatam. No, he created it for us and we have to take advantage of this and be grateful for him for doing this. We are doing our work for all of our Shri Mat Bhavata. And this is our understanding of how we should study Shri Mat Bhavata. And we should be able to study our own life and to be able to study our own life. And if we chant Hare Krishna, it is very important along with chanting Hare Krishna to read Shri Mat Bhavata. And when we have the name of Bhagavan's Bhagavan, it is very interesting that Bhagavan's name is the same as the Bhagavan's Bhagavan. Because the changing of Hare Krishna is meditation, it is dhyana, and we can only meditate when we know the object of our meditation, which is described in Shri Mat Bhagavan. So this jav's name is a jav's name. And we can do good practice in the name of God's name. When we have the jav's name, the jav's name is full. So by changing Hare Krishna and reading Srimad Bhagavatam only, We in a very easy but not cheap way can achieve the real spiritual success in our life. So, we can only be able to serve the Bhagavad Bhakti, and to help us with the Bhagavad Bhakti. So, we can only serve the Bhagavad Bhakti, but not cheap. So this is a simple but it is not a simple. It is a simple but it is not a simple. That's right. Thank you very much Hare Krishna. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna. So there is no question in the Naha Raja Pramachanth. Thank you. Thank you. So, what should we do and what should I know should be in order to do the full surrender on to the Lord's feet. So, Pranajji's question is that we see that the Nanak Numi was a Shundra Bhakti. In that way, the Guru-gandha is also a Shundra Bhakti. So, what kind of shunt bhaktuk can we be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be Arjun in the beginning of Bhagavad Gita when he understood that I have a problem he surrendered to Krishna He said I am your disciple and the soul surrendered unto you please give me your upades But not in the next shloka, but in the shloka after that he says, I surrender that to you, but I am not going to fight. So this is called conditional surrender. Conditional? Parasthetic. Parasthetic. Parasthetic. Parasthetic. I will do it. But at the end of Bhagavad Gita, Arjun said that, Please tell me whatever you will tell me, I will do. Karishya Vachanam Thava So between the initial surrender and the complete surrender there is some process. So this process is basically what happened in Bhagavad Gita. During this time between the initial surrender and the final surrender when he was ready to do whatever Krishna will tell him, Between these, there was some process of inquiry, some process of purification of the heart and some process of purification of buddhi intelligence. So, this is the pranamik shakramati and the pure shakramati. So, this pranamik shakramati and the pure shakramati is in the middle of this pranamik shakramati and the pure shakramati. There is a lot of prashtamakta, a lot of life and mind is in the middle of this pranamik shakramati. So, when we listen again and again and again to our Guru, then the desire and understanding that this is what we are supposed to do will become stronger and stronger. And ultimately, it will conquer over all the problems and obstacles which separate us from this moment. So that's the point. And the determination to do it will also become stronger and stronger and stronger by seeing the example of Guru. It should be more powerful than the other. Is there any other questions? Hare Krishna Maharaj Ji, Dr. Pranam. How we can concentrate our mind in gently? How we can concentrate our properly, fully mind in gently? So Prabhu Ji's question is, how can we put our mind in the name of God? If there is a lot of garbage in your mind, then you will not be able to concentrate your mind on the chanting. So if we can see that when we start chanting all this kachra comes on the surface of our mind. So if everyday we give or we absorb some kachra into the mind, you can be sure that this kachra will manifest itself during the chanting. So the first condition to concentrate on chanting is to decrease the consumption of garbage. The mind that has a hand, will stop it. So if we, at least in the evening before going to sleep, we should concentrate our mind into something pure. Therefore I said that in order to chant properly you have to read Shemad Bhagavatam. Without reading Shemad Bhagavatam you will not be able to chant properly. Without chanting the holy name, you will not be able to read Shri Mat Bhagavatam always. Therefore, these two things, chanting of the holy name and reading Shri Mat Bhagavatam should go together side by side. side by side. And if we read Srimad Bhagavatam and think about Srimad Bhagavatam, about shlokas of Srimad Bhagavatam, then by changing the holy name our mind will be going to the holy name or to the context of holy name which is described in Srimad Bhagavatam. Shri Mat Bhaagavatam ka padhan ka kerte hain, Shri Mat Bhaagavatam ka padhan ka padhan ka kerte hain Toh sva-ta-harop se ujshat ka te sada li hamaara man, aagman ki orhi kendraiz hoi ga. Thank you. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. I am not sure what I am saying. about the Sikrishna that will give us a real discussion. It will appear that because of our short-term potential, we know that in our heart, we know that through the activities or like going for achievements, even in Bhakti doing some devotion service activities. That gives us initial pressure. And going for pleasing Krishna, it appears that it takes a lot of time. So that time we go for these cheap things. Or we are doing one day. And then we try for some time but then we fail in that. Then again the satisfaction comes. But then we are accustomed to having that kind of initiate prism. That we do something for example in the preaching. So okay, let us go back to the preaching. If I brief more, maybe I'll get some discussion. Because thinking of pleasing of Krishna and then investing time in that feels like it takes a lot of effort. How to go about that. So Prabhu Ji's big question is that we know that We are also the original person who is the original person who is the original person. Because our habit is the purpose of the task of the task of the task. We are the task of the task, the task of the task. So when we come to the bhakti, the task of the task of the task of the task, the task of the task, the task of the task of the task, the task of the task, we are the task of the task. But then we have to be able to do the same thing, and then we have to be able to do the same thing. But we have to do the same thing as we have to do the same thing. So this is how we can do it. There is nothing wrong in the Tatkalik Prasanthi, in immediate satisfaction, provided this immediate satisfaction is also connected with the higher goal of ours. So, there is no such thing in this spiritual path. If this spiritual path is also connected with the entire goal? And this is an art to achieve something which is needed for us to achieve, to feel some immediate satisfaction, but not to try to achieve it separately, but to connect it with achieving the highest goal. We are also working on the work of the Salatah, but we will be able to take such conditions by the Adhya-Vikta's anti-ulakshah. and vivid but still we will have satisfaction. Yes, I came little closer to Krishna by achieving this success. Yes, I may still be far away from being close to Krishna or being directly satisfying Him, but still I feel that I came little closer and that enough. That is again a source or cause of great satisfaction within the heart. So we should try to lead our life in such a way that it will bring us some normal satisfaction, immediate satisfaction. But we should try to connect it with the highest goal of our life. Because if we separate one from another, then we will ultimately feel very disappointed even by achieving this so-called success. Yes. Because such a person is not a person. So if someone is a person, then we will have a miracle in our lives. Yes. We will feel I am such a fool. I wasted so much time, so much energy. I achieved this. I didn't become happy. And I deviated from this puzzle, Krishna. We have just said that I am the biggest mood. I have so much pressure. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna.
